Hi gang,
I'm currently running an XP Virtualbox on a Ubuntu 8.10 host. I've tried a few different methods to access my (Ubuntu) Apache server through my VB, but with only very fickle & unreliable success.
I'm sure this must be a common problem, but I can't seem to find any solution: how do I provide access to an Apache Server through a Virtual Box? I can access the relevant (/var/www) folder, but can't seem to get it working.
The machine in question is a laptop, and I need to be able to access the (local) server through the VB when not connected to the internet. Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers,

Re: XP Virtualbox through to Ubuntu Apache Host
Section 6.7 of the VBox user guide pretty much explains what you need.
Adapter (1) host-only
Adapter (2) bridged.
