Hi everyone,
I recently installed virtualbox at work (instead of the usual VMware player everyone else uses around here),
and have ran into some problems with the user interface.
Here's the details:
My system:
Windows XP SP3
running on a run of the mill old DELL Pentium D pc.
What I did with virtualbox so far:
-Created a new Windows 2003 server guest OS, this works perfectly.
What goes wrong:
-Anytime I try to open a settings menu (preferences, or virtual machine settings), the user interface hangs.
I need to kill the process from the task manager to shut virtualbox down.
The process VboxSVC seems to be the one that hangs, but this is just a best guess.
Is this a known issue, is there something I can do to be able to use these menu's in virtualbox?
The default virtual machine installation folder is problematic since data is stored in my user profile,
causing it to be to big according to IT policy around here. I just want to be able to change it.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Virtualbox hangs on config menu's
Try VBox 2.14, its a bit more stable then 2.2
