Using SCSI Scanner on XP via virtualbox

Post by tylerseviltwin »

Total newb here so bear with me...

I have a Fujitsu M3093GX Scanner which runs via a SCSI connector - however cannot use it in Vista as there are no Vista drivers available. I have therefore downloaded VirtualBox in the hope that I could install the Scanner via a hosted XP install, and use it via XP on VirtualBox. However no idea how to add a SCSI port or indeed install the scanner - is this possible? I have dowloaded the scanner install program onto the XP on VirtualBox but do I need to add a SCSI port? If so how?

Thanks in advance and apologies for my incompetence ;-)

Search the manual (PDF) for SCSI, read the references and try.
