Will My Internet Connection Be Lost If I Install VirtualBox?

Hi guys! I've got 2 questions about virtualbox I need answered.
1) Through the installation of virtualbox, the last window of the install says that in order to install VB, the "internet connection will be reset". Is this ok? Will my internet connection be forever affected or lost if I install VB?
2) I'm installing XP Pro SP3 as guest inside XP Pro SP1. Will there be any issues with connecting devices like an iphone through USB?
.

1) Your interfaces will be disabled during setup. This is needed to install the network driver that is used for Bridged Networking. For 2.2.0, you need to install VB again and select "
Repair" before you can use it, it's an installer bug, that should be fixed when the next version is released.
Though keep in mind that Bridged will not benefit you if you don't use a router between your modem and PC.
2) There are still some USB issues. Please search the forums with the trick from the
Forum Posting Guide for more info on these. I'm not sure, but I thought I read some success stories about the iPhone.
A more general warning/advise:
Install SP2 or SP3 on your Host. Running with SP1 only is a real security risc.

Sasquatch, thanks for the response. I got some questions for you:
1) You said that the wireless connection interfaces will be disabled during setup. Does this mean that it's still ok to install VB? Will my connection be affected or slowed down?
2) I don't understand by what you said about "bridged networking". I connect my computer through a friend's wifi to get the internet. Will this hamper my connection? How will this "bridged network" affect it?
3) You said I need to reinstall VB twice and choose repair. Will this re-enable the interface that was first disabled during setup?
4) When is the next version coming out?

3) There is a small issue with the installer that makes VB unable to use the Bridged function work properly, no Host NICs can be selected. A repair will fix that.
