Networking between Host and Guest not working
Posted: 20. Apr 2009, 11:48
Hello all,
I'm new here and i registered, because I couldn't find a solution for my issue.
In fact networking is not working if my laptop is not connected to a switch or hub.
What can i do that it works.
Host OS is Windows Vista, guest is SuSE Linux 10, VirtualBox Version is 2.2.0,
Host adapter and real network adapter are bridged. If I am connected to the router
I can access to the internet with both OS, and I also have connection to from host to
guest via network. If I disconnect thenetwork cable I don't have connection between host and
guest.
Both (guest and host) have static ip-adresses.
...some information missing?
thanks,
Thomas
