I posted about this a couple of months ago with 2.1.4. (http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=14865)

After updating from my old version (2.0.6) to current (2.2.0), the following error appears each time I attempt to run a VM - regardless of whether it's one of the old ones or a newly created one:

VM creation failed (GVMM) (VERR_INVALID_PARAMETER).

Unknown error creating VM
(VERR_INVALID_PARAMETER).

Oddly, this time it didn't break immediately after installing the new version. It worked fine until I restarted my computer. Again, I did a full uninstall before installing. Please let me know if I can provide further info. I need the new version, since 2.0.6 doesn't work with new xserver.
