Hi
for first - sorry for my bad English
My System: Host: Vista64 Guest: WinXP
VirtualBox or Guest (WinXP) has a Problem with a USB Device. My USB Device is USB Prog - thats an AVR Programmer. On my Host USB Prog work fine.
On Connect the USB Prog to VirtualBox - WinXP need 3-5 sec., after that WinXP says Could not find Device, Unknown Device. You should see that on the Picture in the Attachment. Virtual Box prints the Vendor/ProductID correctly but WinXP (Guest) see just VId/PId 0. My Device Mng say "unknown device" - see "USB Controller".
So i dont't understand witch System crash the Connection. On First look VirtualBox work's correctly but why can't my Guest see the right PId/VId (I Think I need that to install Device Driver correctly). I try to install the Driver but it dont't work - i think thats correct because the Driver don't find the right PId/VId.
Maybe one of you know a workaround to fix that Problem.

Best regards
