Here is my scenario:

Given that I cannot mix my personal use with business OS, I am needing to be able to switch between the following and really stumpted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) Connect Guest through Host LAN Adapter without Host being connected to the network on the LAN Adapter while Host is connected through WLAN Adapter. (NOT WORKING)
2) Connect Guest through Host WLAN Adapter while Host is connected to the WLAN Adapter. (WORKING)

The goal is to be able to connect my office LAN cable to my laptop and connect to the office with just my Guest OS while I am still able to use the Wireless (unmonitored) network for the host connection without any host requests being passed through the LAN connection.


Current Host Setup (Personal Config)

I also have need for this configuration, and as an added bonus, I need to be able to connect to my work Cisco VPN on the host network connection. This worked just fine in 2.1.4, but since upgrading and the new "bridged" network setting, this no longer works.

I have a wireless network connection for the host with MS Vista as the OS and the ipv4 interface metric set to 10 so the host defaults to the wireless network connection. The wired network connection has the ipv4 interface metric set to 20 and is to be used by the guest os which is MS XP with SP3. The guest OS obtains an IP address from my router just fine.

Prior to upgrading to 2.2, I could connect to my work Cisco VPN using the host OS and surf the internet using the guest OS. Since upgrading, whenever I connect to the VPN, I lose networking in the guest OS. That is, I cannot even ping my router. It's as if the VPN client is firewalling the wired network connection.
