Can't enable 3d acceleration in Sketchup 7

Hi, I installed Sketchup 7 in my windows xp guest system running in Virtualbox 2.2.
i have obviously enabled the 3d acceleration button in the General settings, then went on and installed Sketchup, went to the preferences window but the 3d acceleration option is shaded, meaning not available.

Any clues as to why this is?

Any help would be appreaciated.

Thanks.

Read the User Manual about 3 D in Guests. DirectX is not supported.

Which Version of Guest Additions are installed.

And please remember: 3D is experimental.

At the moment no DirectX, OpenGL is not fully implemented at the moment.

Hi again, I managed to get it working. I needed to re-install the guest addons, reboot and then the 3d acceleration option was available. Now Sketchup is working much better, although sometimes there are small glitches such as some menus and windows linger on after closing them. So far nothing really big.

Thanks for the reply.
