Hello,

My host is under XP x64 and my hardware is EM64T compliant (CPU Intel Core 2 Q8200, mobo ASUS P5Q-SE with drivers x64, BIOS x64, 4GB RAM) and I would like to have a XP x64 guest.

When I start the guest OS install, I get a message "Attempting to load a x64 OS, however this CPU is not compatible with x64 mode, ...". Is anybody could help me to fix this problem ?

Thanks

Enable vt-x in your BIOS.

Your CPU Core 2 Quad Q8200 does not have the VT-x virtualization technology built in, and therefore you cannot run 64 bit guests in Virtualbox. If you absolutely need this capability, you will have to upgrade to a CPU that does support VT-x, such as the Core 2 Duo E8400 or the Core 2 Quad Q9300.

Not possible. See above.
