Seamless Mode Note So Seamless?

Alright I am trying to figure out how far I can configure VirtualBox with it's "Seamless" Mode, I know I can get it setup using a Shared folder to be where Windows should use all of it's folders, however does anyone know the registry values I have to edit? I remember reading one about making the Desktop share with the Linux Desktop. Are there any other registry values for the other folders?
Anyways, I would like to figure out how I can get it setup so when I want to go to my desktop it goes to my Linux desktop. In the documentation it says that it suppresses the desktop background and such not, and others where saying you can't get your "Virtual" Desktop in Seamless mode. However when I am running it and I do Windows Key + D to go to my desktop it goes to the Virtual Desktop with all the icons and such. It shows the background and everything to. I don't want it to do that! I would like to see my actual linux desktop. Also on the side note does anyone know how to set it up so that when I maximize a windows it will also show the task bar for my virtual windows. at the moment the windows cover it up.
Side Note: I am using KDE 3.5
