I am wondering if there is an "easy" way to convert a physical windows XP to a VB VM.
I tried to use VMware converter and the conversion works really nice but I was only able to read the broken down VMDK files only a a VMware player.
My understanding is that VB reads VMDK files but not only single files (not broken down ones like the one the converter created).
Here are my questions.
1. can the new 2.2 version read the broken down VMDK files (how) or can they be converted into native VB?
1.B. Even if they could be read, should they be converted.
2. Is there any easy way to convert a windows xp physical to a guest (on a windows xp host)?
Thanks
