Hi! I'm running Windows Server 2008 Standard 32-bit as a host OS and I'm trying to run Windows XP as a guest OS. Everything is fine, but I have no internet in my guest OS. I tried everything (NAT, Bridged Network, Host-only network), read the manual, but nothing changed. I use Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop and Virtualbox v2.2.0. Please, if you have any ideas tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Thank you!

Note: I forgot to mention that I'm using wireless connection on host OS via Netgear router.

There seems to be an issue with dhcp and nat, not really sure what but for now I would tell you to use Bridged. Also if you are having problems using dhcp you can setup your guest network manually to an address within the range of your host. From the host open a cmd window and type ipconfig /all Find out what the range is and note the dns and gateway addresses.

For NAT there is a work around. You can set the IP config as static, then it will work. Using Bridged is perhaps better if you want to have two-way communication between Host and Guest. http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/3655 for the NAT bug report.
