HI,all
I'm using virtualbox 2.2.0 in windows xp and going to install slackware 12.2 as guest os. But when I boot the slackware install dvd, I got this error message:

Cannot access to kernel driver

I'v reboot XP, but the problem remains.

Can anybody help me out of this?

thanks.

Message from VirtualBox or Slackware Install? What is the _EXACT_ Guest Configuration?

I was having the same problem this morning (Vista64 host, previously-working linuxmintx64 guest); I went to Control Panel and did a Repair, and it works fine now....

I have the same problem... did the upgrade to 2.2.0 on Win Vista 64 ... What did you do in the Control Panel to repair it? The error "
make sure the kernel module has been loaded successfully". I am assuming that it is talking about the host os? I have been running Ubuntu 8.10 as the guest.
