I dont know much the habit of this forum, so i will be straight and fast

i got this warnig box :

RTR3Init failed with rc=-1912 (rc=-1912)

It may help to reinstall VirtualBox.

and this one :

Kernel module compile and run without any problem.

I try to run vdi running perfect on older vb install.

So a reinstall didn't help? It would also help if you note your distro. The kernel doesn't always say much, especially on Debian and Ubuntu.

I reinstalled several times, no luck.

Distro is Linux debian lenny stable.

I am on the way to reinstall this debian kernel is amd64 but dpkg wants i386 packages ...

I am having this exact issue.. on linux 2.6.26-1-amd64

Anyone find a solution? I'm dead in the water...

my solution was to reinstall whole debian in i686 mode.
So that way i have a i686 kernel and i686 userland.

Before i had an amd64 kernel and i686 userland...

Now vb 2.2 is running fine with imported vdi.

I have the same issue on Debian Lenny with virtualbox-ose 2.2.2. (Error message: "RTR3Init failed with rc=-1912 (rc=-1912)")

My Kernel is 2.6.26-2-amd64. To reinstall the whole system in i686 mode is no option for me. What else can I do?
