error when I try to start a second VM with Host Interface

Post by danieru »

Hello,
I have a VM running with the NIC 'host interface' setting. When I try to start a second VM also configured with 'host interface', I get the following error:

*********
Failed to open/create the internal network 'HostInterfaceNetworking-eth0' (VERR_PERMISSION_DENIED).
Unknown error creating VM (VERR_PERMISSION_DENIED).

Result Code:
NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component:
Console
Interface:
IConsole {e3c6d4a1-a935-47ca-b16d-f9e9c496e53e}
*************

I've looked around but can't find anyone else mentioning this problem.

I'm running CentOS release 5.3 (Final)
with VB 2.1.4

Does anyone have some insight on this problem/how to resolve it?

Cheers!
