Hi all,
first i will say, my tablett worked well with VBox v2.1. Then i did an update to Vbox 2.2.
The GUI started well. Then the booting of W2k stucked. I had to use xkill... :|
My Tablett is well configured at my host pressure sensitivity inclusive.

My Configuration:
Openuse 11.0
W2k Guest
Wacom USB Graphire IV

Well after looking in the Vbox.log files i saw the last line was always this:
00:00:01.810 VUSB: attached '0000000000bc8420[proxy 056a:0016]' to port 1

I disabled the USB-option in then settingsdialog of my Guest.
Now booting succeded :D

My Tablett seemed to work too, but without pressure sensitivity. (without usb turned on).
After fiddling with usb settings, i found the magic setting to make all things work well.

Open the settings for your guest. Then click USB in the left pane.
In the right pane there is a tablett listed (if you have one).
Hit Strg-Return to open the Change Settings for this device.
Change the dropdown at the bottom of the dialog from "No" to "BOTH".
Now i have a tablett on my local pc AND one on a remote pc. I don't
have a remote pc
I think it's a bug in the settings
But besides that, the w2k guest is now booting faster than in the previous version of Vbox

Happy vboxing to all (it's an amazing peace oft software)

I'm also finding this same problem. In my case any usb device if enabled will prevent a vm from booting. It must be in the usb implimentation.

I also find that when I do get a vm to boot the cursor (wacom tablet) lags behind the actual movement of the stylus when in seamless mode. If it's windowed then it works as expected. but this limits it's usefullness to me, so I have to downgrade back to 2.1.4 where everything works fine :?

Thanks for reply,
Deleting the usb entry in /etc/fstab didn't help.
In the meantime i found another workaround.
I can boot the guest with usb-Device enabled, but only as remote device configured.
After booting i'am able to enable the usb-device with right mousekey at the bottom device symbol.
And then pressing HostKey+I and rightclick in the guestwindow. Tablet is now working well.
If i delete that line in fstab, the tablet behaves like a mouse.

Happy eastern folks :D
