resolution vrdp vs. "native" gui

Post by slanbarn »

Hello there!

I write this topic in regard to another topic I started on a simillar subject... http://forum.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.p ... 63&p=64947

When I use the native VB gui to start a VM(windows xp) and use the native viewer I can choose between 800x600 and 1024x768 as resolution...

However when I start the VM as a vrdp-type (VBoxMAnage startvm WindowsXP -type vrdp) I can choose resolution BETWEEN 800x600 and up to 6400x1200.

You would suspect that theese resolutions doesnt work when actually choosing them, but the do, at least 1280x800 :)

Anyone have any idea why the guest only gives me two resolutons to choose from when using the native gui?
