Anyone with a Dell Studio 1536 running any 64 bit OS as a host?

I tried 64 bit ubuntu for the first time in it starting last thursday and got tons of errors (malloc) in dmesg from multiple applications and addresses, and random freezes.

I'm just wondering if the Studio 1536 has more than a virtualization bug, and that maybe all 64 bit is broken on it.

(No wonder it comes with 32bit Vista?)

I have a studio 1536. I have installed Ubuntu 9.04. It works fine for me, except for the any of the virtual machine technology.
