Unless they have updated to a newer Xorg you will need to edit the xorg.conf file to get a resolution bigger than 800 x 600.

Look here I have posted a copy of xorg that will give you a way to increase the screen resolution.

OK
But I want to install new version of Virtual Box because I don't know what video card is emulating VBOX2.04 and I can't get resolution bigger than 800x600 because the virtual Windows2000 that I install using VBOX 2.04 can't find driver and refuse to a me to change resolutions other than 640x480 and 800x600
The virtual Windows is sayng that Video Card is Standart VGA Compatible, and I can't get it to work with more than 16 colours and resolution highter than 800x600

Is it such a bother to read the manual? You need to install the Guest Additions. The video adapter is a virtual one, unknown to the whole world of OS default shipped drivers.
