OEM License of WinXP

Post by ronnys »

Hi!
PC: Dell GX520 with OEM of WinXP Pro
Pri OS: SLED11 64bits
Virtualbox 2.1.4

I want to install the OEM Lisence as guest OS, but the Dells WinXP media is pre-activated at Microsoft. It checks if it is a real Dell computer and if not it require new activation.
I really dont want to buy new lisence of XP since i allreade have OEM.

So is it possible to cheat XP so it can see the Dell HW?

We do not deal with such legal issues, so don't ask again.

OEM is hardware bound. You will have an illegal Windows. We don't deal with illegal software here.
