See my signature for some useful links. Usually you use NAT, which doesn't work with static IP. Manual is a good thing to read .

Still, what did you do? You can point to a page of the manual, but you never stated what it says and which VB version you use. The manuals change each release, so taking page 126 for 2.2.0 gives me something totally different than what we're trying to do here.

Ok, what is your Host network range (it's IP address) and what did you change NAT to? Don't put them in the same range, that will cause major failure on the VM.
