Do you have an USB option? If yes, it's PUEL.

Hello,

USB - my Problem, I could activate the USB - option. An when I start my guest-system I see at the buttom of my screen the USB - Icon. An when I right-click on the Icon I see my USB - Scanner and my USB - ISDN-modem. I cold chose and activate the Scanner, but not the modem. I can not shoose the modem.

When I made theese entrys in fstab:

none /proc/bus/usb usbfs devgid=125,devmode=664 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs auto 0 0

I can`t choose the scanner.

Any Idea? Is it possible that I have OSE installed?

Only one entry in fstab is needed, else it will get confused and stop working. The VirtualBox FAQ is a good source of USB info for you.
Note that not all devices will work over USB. And not all can be grabbed by the VM, especially if they are in use by the Host. You might need to unload the modules first before you can pass it to the Guest.
