Help with some type of system check failure

Ok guys,
Problem: I just deployed my Second Ubuntu 8.1 Server that has both SBS 03 & xp running virtual. The performance is GREAT! My problem is that both systems won't allow verifying a license key for some accounting software (Sage Master Builder). I've spent many hours on the phone with tech support ensuring that everything is installed correctly.
Behavior: After inputting the license key on either system the software crashes as if something isn't installed correctly. I have to restart the system in order to get it to run again. I took a look at the event log and it says a .net class can't be referenced. The odd thing is that, other than this one exception, the software runs fine.
Question: What should I do to find out what the systems need in order to run the software?
My real problem with VirtualBox is that I haven't had any problems up to this point
. In fact, I've had so much success that I have an entire hospital considering to run the software on their million dollar servers - AMAZING!
