Screen goes black in vm when trying to install

I am using VirtualBox 2.1.4 on Win Xp Sp2 32 bit.
I am trying to install openSuse 11 32 bit from a bootable DVD witch works fine.
I created a new configuration, a 2 GB hdd (I won't install graphic-kde etc), then I set to mount the DVD
and when I power on the virtual machine it works fine, the openSuse welcome screen appears then
I press Installation from that menu, and then it unpacks the kernel, after that it goes black, the screen
goes black and it stays like that.

Other virtual machines are working fine, but this goes black right after I press Installation and the kernel
unpacks, what could be the cause?

None addresses my issue, but since none seems to care I would
like to say that VirtualBox is not stable enough for this.

I am wasting my time for nothing, I successfully did it in Vmware
Workstation.
