Guest RHEL 4.7 stuck after uncompressing kernel

My host OS is Ubuntu 8.10 while the guest OS is Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS 4.7. At booting, the guest OS stuck after "Uncompressing kernel .... ok, booting linux"
The same problem repeats when the guest OS becomes CentOS 4.7.
Does anyone have any idea about this?
