Ubuntu 8.10, windows XP guest, VB 2.1.4
I installed the logitech software to manage the webcam in windows and the webcam works quite fine, it' s just a little slow. But the integrated mic doesn' t work at all.
Furthermore, when I connect the usb device trough the VirtualBox usb manager, in linux the device disappears and I have to reboot linux to see again the usb mic in skype.
Well, obviously I can use it in linux, but aMsn still don' t have some functions of windows live messenger....

Webcams are still not working properly in Guests. So don't bother, you will get a black video from the cam.

no, my webcam works properly, good image, just a little slow sometimes freezes for a second.
the only not working is the integrated mic.
Anyway I' ll wait for future developments.

logitech quickcam pro 9000 - video works, integraded mic does not
Jaunty 64-bit host

guest additions installed
tried with PulseAudio and ALSA...no dice.
