browse Guest (XP) from Host (Ubuntu)

Is it possible for me to browse my Guest file without booting up the Guest???
Im been thinking something like browsing ur external hard drive

my intention to transfer load of file to my Host.....currently the speed suffering me .....
any idea???

i would like to format my Guest (XP), but before that i want to backup some of my folders/files (around 3-4gb) , now currently i move all my files to my shared folder at my Host. And it takes couples of hours to finish.

If u in my situation what will u do?

I'd use Host networking and 'net use' directly to where I want to dump the files.
But you can always make a new VDI and use the current VDI as a second disk when the new VDI is up and running.

second dvi is not an option for me due to lack of hdd space...... i think for time being i need to adapt with the speed...
