Maximum virtual disks available in virtualbox

I have installed virtualbox 2.0.4_ose on a ubuntu 8.10. I have successfully installed RHEL 5 on virtual box now i want to try RAID options available with RHEL which requires more number of disks to be installed in virtual box. right now i have option for installing 3 virtual disks my questions are as follows....
1. can i have more than 3 virtual disks installed
2. if yes how can i install those more disks
3. what is the maximum number of virtual disks supported by virtual box

If you are using the non opensource version then you can enable sata controller in the "virtual media manager" and create ~30 disks.
For the opensource version sata is not available then you will be limited only to three disks.
