Vbox does load balancing between all available Host processors, if you want to dedicate processors to 1 VM process you will have to do this manually on the Host.

I think the OP is looking for SMP support in VirtualBox.
VirtualBox does not support SMP yet.

Thanks for your comments.
I'm doing some tests to be installed in production, some virtual servers, my server host has 4 core Opteron 2 each and I need to know how to assign 2 cores in a virtual machine
I have also tried XEN where I can allocate to the virtual machine the number of CPUs, but in VirtualBox can not do that, I am a user of VirtualBox that is why I ask if you can do this, VirtualBox also gives me better performance levels in GUI applications.
Thank you.

As said previously, VB doesn't support SMP, which stands for symmetric multiprocessing. In other words, multi processor support. VB does support more than one processor, but only one is sent to the VM. It is on the roadmap, it's just not known when it will be available. VMWare does it, but it doesn't add much to the actual VM performance. It's usually called fake SMP for VMW, and that's not what the VB devs want. Neither do we, the users.
