vbox command to execute an app under a winxp guest

Hi!
I'm running vbox 2.1.4 non-oss under Ubuntu 8.10 x86-64 with a WinXP Pro 32bit guest VM.
I'm aware vbox has a seamless mode but I'd like to take that a step further as I don't want the windows taskbar or even to have to manually launch vbox. I would ideally like to be able to create a menu or desktop shortcut (launcher) that would run a vbox command that would fire up my winxp vm (invisibly in the background) then launch a specific program, Word 2007 under winxp for example. Once I've finished using Word and I exit the app, vbox would then be shut down unless there are other active sessions using that same XP VM of course.
I read the FAQ and looked through all the virtualbox command line options and the manual but I can't find a way to achieve this. If such a feature is not already implemented, is it planned for a future vbox release?
Thanks!
Dan
