How do i setup usb in mandriva linux 2009.
i am a new user to linux. i just switched yesterday from windows xp.
i have no knowledge in programing for linux.
please help.

It's probably enough to do an edit of your fstab file. See the VirtualBox FAQ for more info.

tried to edit it in the fstab. its not allowing me to do that,

You must be root. Sorry, this is not a linux forum.

That are problems in the handling of a guest OS, not VirtualBox Problems. You have to read a linux book before working with it.
