VDRP client missing character

Post by bendany »

Hi, I has a problem here.

I am running virtualbox 2.14 under archlinux, and install a chinese windows 2003 client.

currently i am using japanese windows xp terminal client to connect to the 2003 client console by VRDP.

I found some chinese character is missing from human eye.
but when I capture a screenshot by pressing PrtSc, It is OK.

is this a bug?

Probably an RDP drawing bug. And Chinese Windows with a Japanese terminal, hmm, I'm no expert, but those are two different languages you have there, with their own characters (I know that Japanese has quite a lot of the Chinese Kanji, but not all IIRC) and character encoding.

Can you reproduce this consistently? Even if you force some sort of redrawing by draggin the window around, or a different window on top of it?
