Hello all;
I have an Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3 Server and install the VBox 2.1.4. I didn't see any problem during the installation.
But now I need create a VM to install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3. After create that VM, I click on start, the VM found my DVD and begin the installation, the Red Hat screen appears with the question "How to Install" and I press "Enter" (In Graphical Mode), the Installation begin but stops always in the same place:

This is a bug? How can I fix that? Note: I already try unselect the ACPI, network, usb, but didn't work.

Thanks for the response, but as I say, I'm using Red Hat Linux Enterprise 5.3 and not Debian, so the file /boot/loader.conf do not exist. I already try found something like that because I found that same post 2 days ago.
If I need change this same configuration on Red Hat too, how can I do that?

Redhat kernels take a divider= kernel boot parameter and will divide the default 1000HZ clock rate by the amount specified. boot: linux divider=10
will run the installer kernel with a 100Hz clock rate and may well help.

Hey all, I found the problem. After create an VM, clicl on Configurations and in Advanced, choose IO APIC for Red Hat Linux 5.3. Without that option, the VM stops always in the same place.
