6GB on windows XP install here, and my VBox machine won't run set at 512MB RAM.

Gonna try to reduce to 300 like the previous poster said.

However, someone mentioned a version 2.2.1, and waiting for a compiled version.... Does that mean there's an uncompiled version available one just has to compile?

Actually no. It means that they have addressed the issue and it should be fixed in the next release. (due sometime soon)

bah well I hope soon is close . It would be one less thing to bother with right now. Regaurdless somones been working since most of the folders in the svn went from 6 months to 2 days so crossing fingers
