sound problems with nivida CK804 chipset

hi
iam using an AC 97 sound driver on a nvidia ck804 chipset my vb version is 2.1.4.
i tried all vb sounddrivers but every time the same warning: HostAudioNotResonding ... select NULL audiodriver ...
host: Debian Linux 2.26-1-amd64
guest: WinXP Prof SP3
this warning is since ive changed my mainboard. the sound worked with my old motherboard.
any suggestions?
