So, I've been using VBox for a while on my Lenny workstation. When I first installed, I went from the d/l'd .deb file, but I just noticed that there are repos to work with apt.

My question is, if I put those repos in my sources.list, update apt and install the new vbox will it handle replacing the old version?

No, the version I had installed via dpkg was 2.1.2 and the repos had 2.1.4.

Anyway, I went ahead and updated the sources.list, did an 'apt-get update' and 'apt-get upgrade' and got the new version no problem. So, yeah, it works just fine.
