VistaUltimate installation issue on Ubuntu Intrepid VB2.1.4

Post by farooqmian »

I am trying to install Vista Ultimate version on Ubunut intrepid using VBox2.1.4 from an ISO located on the Ubuntu drive and its giving me the follwing error.
"Windows cannot install required files. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code 0x800703E6"

Video memory is 15 MB and hard disk size is 40 GB dynamically expandable.

I successfully installed XP SP2 at the same machine and is working fine.
Any idea on what's wrong?

The ISO is the problem. Where did you get it from? Illegal downloaded are never a good source.
