Need help on 2.1.4 Install

I am running 2.0.6 successfully under unbuntu on an AMD 64.
I have downloaded 2.1.4 but when I run the update using the package installer, I get the message Error: Conflicts with the installed package 'virtualbox-2.0'
What's the best way to proceed?

Set up Sun as a source as per the download Linux instructions. The do a
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get remove virtualbox-2.0
sudo apt-get install virtualbox-2.1

Managed to do it but I can't find this reference "Set up Sun as a source as per the download Linux instructions". Can you give me a link?

He meant to add the Sun download site to your apt config as described on the download site:
http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads
But if you already managed to do the remove and install through apt-get, you probably already did the first step...
