How to properly update virtualbox from 2.1.2 to 2.1.4

Post by linux_vbox_user »

I installed the cross platform .run file in my opensuse 10.3 installation. I downloaded the updated virtualbox and would like to know if I can install the update on top of the current installation without problems?

That should pose no problems. If you pick the RPM or general installer (though RPM is recommended, and available), it shoud just overwrite existing files.
