VB on dedicated X display

Hey,

While searching for something else, I stumbled upon this post:
I am using virtualbox on Fedora 9 through VBoxSDL. It is configured like this: when you log in as "windowsxp" on any text-only console, there is a login script that will launch a new X server on TTY9 and in .xinitrc it will launch virtual XP machine with disabled host keys and everything else on fullscreen ..

This way it is pretty neat, CTRL-ALT-F7 brings you back to gnome and CTRL-ALT-F9 brings you to simulated XP.
How would I go about setting this up running Ubuntu 8.10?
Any pointers would be great.

Thanks, Angus.
