ubuntu question

Post by metzy85 »

I have a dual boot with ubuntu 8.10. Heres my problem though. My linux partition is 34gb and i am only useing 30gb. I am trying to make a virtual machine for windows xp pro. I made a hard drive for 20gb and it says toward the end of the installation that there is not enough space on the disk whats wrong?

In other words your partition is 90% full. You shouldn't allow Ext3 partitions to get fuller than this.

If you want to install XP you will need perhaps 5Gb minimum free.
