running without GUI (only vrdp) ?

hi all,

is there any way to run virtualbox on windows without the GUI? i only use the client system over vrdp and so i want to disable the GUI on my host computer. is this possible? thanks for your answers.

The out-of-the-box MSI relies on the GUI libraries being in place but you can do everything though the command line through the VBoxManage and VBoxHeadless commands.

mh sorry for the question i have searched on virtualbox site but i cant find any documentation about this VBoxManage and the commands to use? is there a documentation anywhere?

?? I just did a google on VBoxManage and got loads of hits, so I think that you are telling porkie-pies. If you've installed VBox then you have a copy of the User Guide accessible through the Sun xVM VirtualBox menu option. Search for VBoxManage.
