Have a VM which I've used for a good while on Machine A, so I copied it to Machine B and installed VB from the Kubuntu repos. But when I try to start the VM it comes up with an error window that says, "Failed to start the virtual machine WinXP." and the error windows are blank!

I start VB in Konsole, and there are no messages, and there's nothing in the logs. I've tried this with Kubongo repos 1.6.6-35336, 2.0.6-39765, and 2.1.2-41885, and the same on all.

My original VB may have been from the VB website. Could this be the reason, or is something else going on?

Well I've just found that VB in my repos are from Sun because I have the line in sources.lst. So something else must be causing this.

OK, I've just found that because of my dark color schema the error text was not showing. It says:

PIIX3 cannot attach drive to the Secondary Master (VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND).
Unknown error creating VM (VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND).

Agh, n/m. Just had to remove/recreate the vd.
