Hi All,
I'm on a fedora 8 machine and I'm running win 7 as a guest. When I try to map a network drive from win 7 to the linux machine, it tells me there's no such folder. But I know the folder is there, because my win xp guest connects just fine. Even if I try to connect to \\vboxsvr I get a message that it doesn't exist. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
thanks,
Ed

Sorry, I thought I had given enough info.
Here's how my guest is configured:

Here's what I see when I try to map a folder on my Linux host:

The folder I'm trying to point to does exist and is shared. I also tried turning off the windows firewall and uninstalling then reinstalling the vbox guest additions...but I'm seeing the same behavior.

This will trigger a 'duh' from your side. Did you actually install the Guest Additions? Without it, you won't have access to them.
