Networking and shared folder access taking high CPU in 2.1.2

VB 2.1.2 feels much slower in network access and shared folder access with high host CPU usage than 2.0.2. Does anyone else feel the same?
Any possible tweaks/workarounds to try?

Try it with 2.1.4 that was released a few days ago. There were some performance issues with 2.1.2 that should be fixed now.

Thanks! 2.1.4 fixed the problem. Both Shared folder access and networking are back to normal (if not better) with Networking being the most improved (now takes significantly low host CPU).

However I wish shared folder cpu could improve a little bit more as there's a significant difference in cpu usage in accessing local files and shared folder files.

Note: My shared folder access is a bit unusual though. I have a symbolic link in my shared folder (ext3) to a FAT32 folder. I run programs located in this folder. Could this have an effect on cpu?
