I'm using VirtualBox with XP. I would like to install itunes to connect my iphone on my ubuntu systems.
All the installed program are without problem (Firefox, ccleaner, quicktime player), but itunes is not working : mouse icon begins to indicate an activity (like when all program is launching) but after 1 or 2 seconds, it stops. No windows appears...
I'm just tying to install itunes 7.7 without any problem : everything is OK.
Is it an incompatibilty between itunes 8.0 and vitualbox ?
Do you have an idea about what's appended ?
My configuration :
ubuntu intrepid ibex as host
windows xp pro 5.1 as guest
virtualbox 2.1.2
itunes 8.0.2
(Sorry for my poor english : I'm french)
Pb with itunes

Before getting yourself a headache, please check the forums if the iPhone actually works in VB. IIRC, it doesn't. See the Forum Posting Guide for more info on how to search on the forums.
