Trying to create a new GuestOS, but the maximum memory is 3584? I have 8GB with 64-bit CentOS running.

I loaded the 64-bit kernel and drivers. Is there something special I need to install to get it to do more than 3584?

Is the guest 32 or 64 bit?

If it's a 32 bit OS there's no need for more thant 3.5 GB, since it will not be recognized.

Anyway, independent of the guest OS being 32 or 64 bit, you can try enabling PAE for this guest. Have you tried this?

Maybe it doesn't make any sense, but if just enabling PAE doesn't works, you can try VT-x/AMD-V *with* PAE at the same time (important to note that what's really relevant here is PAE)

I don't have a machine with more than 4 GB here, so I can't validade any of this tips here...

VB has a limit on how much RAM you can give a VM. Doesn't matter if it's 32 or 64 bit. This limit is hard coded and should be changed in the next major release.
