Upgrade question...

HI all,
I'm currently running VBox 1.66 on Fedora 8, and I'm looking to upgrade to 2.1.2. Would you recommend that I uninstall 1.66 before installing 2.1.2? If so, will I lose my 1.66 guest when unintalling 1.66?
