Seamless mode and dualhead setup

Post by fischi »

Hi there,

I have dual-headed monitor setup on my Ubuntu Intrepid host with an intel graphics. The Setup is as described here:
http://intellinuxgraphics.org/dualhead.html

When I switch to seamless mode i'm not able to drag the guest's windows to the second monitor. It seams that in seamless mode only the primary monitor is used.

Is VirtualBox actually able to handel dualheaded hosts?

VB can handle more than one monitor, you just have to set that and start the VM a bit different. It's all in the manual. The default GUI won't work, and you won't have seamless either, due to the VRDP use.
